Psychiatry and Hope: Let's Stand Together

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. Therefore, I am especially appreciative that the American Psychiatric Association and the editorial staff at Psychiatric News shared my article on Depression and Hope. I tailored this article to the readership of the Psychiatric News; which consists of Psychiatrist, Residents and other Mental Health Professionals. I think it is important that we all work together to spread a message of hope and truth. More importantly....

... my aim was to inspire other like-minded professional to stand with, and advocate for, those who are impacted by mental illness and addiction.
