Dr. Goldenberg is a nationally recognized aviation psychiatrist (HIMS trained) providing evaluations of pilots and air traffic controllers for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He is also well experienced in providing mental health and substance use disorder evaluations and expert testimony for healthcare providers, and other safety sensitive workers, who are engaged in administrative and/or legal proceedings.
In addition to a vibrant private practice, Dr. Goldenberg provides addiction psychiatry consultations to some of the nation’s top residential and outpatient addiction and mental health treatment programs in the Los Angeles area.
Dr. Goldenberg is also an active author, researcher and invited speaker at local and national conferences. He also volunteers his time as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCLA. Dr. Goldenberg is also active in several professional societies and organizations including serving as the Chair of California Public Protection and Physician Health (CPPPH), a member of the American Psychiatric Association’s Council on Addiction Psychiatry and as president-elect of the Southern California Psychiatric Society (SCPS).
